A must for any astronomy enthusiast! Your own original art gas-giant planet dining table. This tempered-glass topped table has been coated with multiple layers of resin to emulate the visible cloud layers of Jupiter. The golden and blue colours reflect the true colours visible on the largest planet in the solar system. The giant red spot has also been included! There are so many layers of resin that the design has real depth to it with some cloud layers visibly above others; the pictures really don't do it justice. The mica pigments are translucent and iridescent giving glitter and shine and the light can shine through it (see picture of the table from below). The resin has been allowed to run round onto the bottom surface of the table to completely seal the edge of the table glass. The top surface of the resin is therefore not completely flat but it is smooth, shiny and hygienic.

The table is nearly 1m across and is easily big enough to seat 4 comfortably. Hard-wearing Glass Cast countertop resin has been used, which is suitable for food use. There are four curved metal 'spider' legs which are bolted onto special pads robustly glued to the base of the glass. The table is easy to keep clean, just wipe with a bit of soap-detergent on a damp cloth.
