A large polished white quartz stone is set amongst colourless glass crystals of multiple sizes and embellished with white-brass metal glitter. The pink-gold (flip colour) mica pigment used in the resin changes its appearance depending on the angle you view it from. The geode lines are pink and red and continue the design over the edges of this 12cm square piece. The edges are embellished with gold leaf and protected with a holo-glitter impregnated top resin flood coat.
The mini-geode is set in an 8 inch (20cm) square, deep-box-frame, polished and wood-coloured with a cream mount beneath.
This geode features in my upcoming 'Making Glittering Geodes' course, soon to be published.
