An upcycled wine/side table. This unique resin table has been created using the multiple layer method to give real depth to the design in the pond.
It features two goldfish, lily pads and a flower, tadpoles, pond weed and duck weed. The hard landscaping includes rough gree opal, colourless quarts, several different colours of jasper as well as green aventurine, tigers eye, and abalone shell. The reeds are made from acrylic skins and real metal glitter gives the whole table enormous sparkle.
The legs are lacquered glossy black, with goldfish hand-painted onto them and the whole table is a work of art.
Standing 50cm (20inches) tall and 34cm (13.5inches) diameter, this end table is the perfect place to set your wine glass down at the end of the day.
Pond Table
The resin used for all my tables is countertop grade Glass Cast Resin which is safe for food use. It is hardwearing and robust but please use coasters for hot drinks.
Resin surfaces can be wiped down with a soft, soapy, damp cloth but please avoid using anything abrasive on the surface.
Very small scratches can be disguised by wiping the surface with a very small quantity of vegetable oil.
If the worst happens, the epoxy resin can be polished. Please seek advice from me before attempting any polishing please.
