A one-off completely unique piece of sculputral art.

'Ring of Causality' is an attempt to bring attention to our current climate crisis. Originally created to illustrate the Sustainability Goal 17 of the United Nations, 'Climate Action', it shows the causes of global warming, some of the effects and also some things we might do to protect our planet from climate change. This is an incredibly important and urgent topic and this artwork forms part of my 'Conscience' series of work.

The base is made from recycled PVC and concrete, and the many different parts are mixed media including acrylic paint, acrylic sheet and acrylic skins, LED lights (it is illuminated), single crystal silicon (for the solar plane), wire (for the trees), modelling clay and reclaimed glass and quartz crystals for the mountains, recycled beads form the natural gas bubbles and real wood was used to make the tree stumps in the felled and flooded forest.

It can be mounted horizontally as a sculpture, or it can be attached to the wall. It is recommended that mirror plates be used for this purpose and so if this is your prefence, please let me know at the time of purchase.

This piece featured in the West Bristol Arts trail in Bristol, November 2020.
